How to Play War
The Setup
The deck is split evenly between two players. Each player gets 26 cards face down. No one looks at their cards!
The Battle
Both players flip their top card at the same time. The player with the higher card wins both cards and adds them to their deck. Aces are high!
War!
When both players flip the same rank, it's WAR! Each player places 3 cards face down, then flips a 4th card. Highest 4th card wins all the cards. If they tie again, another war!
Victory
The game continues until one player wins all 52 cards. The first player to run out of cards loses the war!
Card Rankings: 2 (lowest) → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8 → 9 → 10 → J → Q → K → A (highest)
