Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Card Games Cafe, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are not legally old enough to agree to online terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you. The service is not directed to children under 13.
Your account
You may browse public pages without an account. Playing currently uses Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity through your account, for keeping access to it secure, and for providing accurate account information. Do not impersonate another person, share access in a way that compromises the service, or use another person's account without permission.
Fair-play rules
Please treat every table like a welcoming cafe. You may not:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or deliberately disrupt other players.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, manipulate scores, or bypass normal game rules or access controls.
- Probe, attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or another user's device or data.
- Use Card Games Cafe for unlawful activity, gambling, wagering, or anything that violates another person's rights.
- Use room codes, accounts, or site content to distribute malware, spam, or deceptive material.
Games, scores, and virtual items
Card games can involve chance, and software can occasionally contain bugs. We may correct a game state, score, leaderboard entry, reward, or virtual balance when reasonably necessary to fix an error or abuse. Virtual coins, scores, badges, and similar items have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and are not property or a promise of future value. Card Games Cafe does not provide gambling or cash-prize services.
Our content and service
The site's software, visual design, writing, branding, and original assets belong to Card Games Cafe or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial play. These terms do not give you permission to copy, sell, republish, or create a competing service from our protected content.
Traditional game names, rules, and mechanics may be known in the public domain or played in many family variations. Our rights concern our particular software, artwork, writing, branding, and presentation—not ownership of traditional play itself.
Service availability and changes
We are actively improving Card Games Cafe. Features, supported games, rules implementations, availability, or account requirements may change. We may pause the service for maintenance, address security issues, discontinue a feature, or restrict access when necessary. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Third-party services and links
Google sign-in, analytics, hosting, and other third-party services may have their own terms and policies. Links from Card Games Cafe do not mean we control or endorse every third-party site. Your use of those services is also governed by their applicable terms.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent allowed by law, Card Games Cafe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from every defect. To the extent allowed by law, Card Games Cafe and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a serious or repeated violation of these terms.
Changes and contact
